The World Project for 2023 to 2026 focuses on GFS in the Democratic Republic of Congo and considers what it might be able to do for women in their communities.
The project aims to improve the living standards of impoverished girls and young women.
The objectives are:
To provide marketable skills to 50 destitute girls and young women
To provide moral and spiritual guidance to the participants
To reduce unemployment and increase family income by helping the trained group find employment by the end of the project.
To skill girls in maintaining small businesses and to create jobs for the jobless.
To assist members of the Anglican Church of Congo in understanding the ministry of GFS.
To promote GFS to the secular community, growing membership and sponsorship.

The GFS World Day of Prayer is observed globally each year on September 29th. All GFS-USA branches are encouraged to participate in this special day of worship and reflection. Each year, one of the member countries prepares a unique service, which is then shared with GFS groups around the world to use in their celebrations.
Donations collected during the World Day of Prayer should be sent to the GFS-USA Treasurer and will support the designated World Project.
