The Rev. Emily Given is a life-long GFS member from the Diocese of PA and currently serves as the Rector of Church of the Messiah in Suburban Philadelphia. She is an avid gardener, mixed media artist, writer, educator, and lover of live music. Emily is a willing partner in adventure, the parent of two remarkable humans, a devoted follower of Jesus, and basically trying her best to create beauty when and where she can.

She is the author of the series Building Faith Brick by Brick: An Imaginative Way to Explore Scripture, which uses Legos as a form of spiritual reflection.
