The Girls’ Friendly Society (GFS) welcomes girls and women of all backgrounds. GFS is a faith-based, international nonprofit organization, affiliated with the Episcopal Church. Through programs focused on worship, service, learning, and fellowship, GFS nurtures the growth of the whole person—spiritually, emotionally, and socially. At its heart, GFS is a diverse, intergenerational community where lifelong friendships are formed, and young women are empowered to thrive in faith and life.

GFS USA is a registered 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization.

#OrangeTheWorld

Orange the World is a global movement led by the UN to raise awareness and take action against gender-based violence. It runs annually from November 25 (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) to December 10 (Human Rights Day), symbolizing a 16-day campaign. The color orange represents a brighter, violence-free future for women and girls.

World Project

The World Project for 2023 to 2026 focuses on GFS in Cameroon and considers what it might be able to do for vulnerable people in their communities.

The project’s goal is to world project, improve the living standards of destitute girls and young women.
